Since there was no live show the week before, I talk a lot in this episode about whatever I feel like: new friends, old friends who eat a lot of Indian food, friends you never see and then wind up getting arrested with. How writing a radical, timeless song is a mixed bag: people will cover the hell out of it, but not always in the style that you would prefer (I'm looking at you, Leiber and Stoller).

SUmmer I figured out how to do this and make it work for my life! Yeah! What fun. So I loved Soul Island, Stompin at the Savoy - haven't thought of Bennie Goodman for many years!. Really liked the Cristina interpretation of Is That All There Is?, and your comments as well.
ReplyDeleteSo, I see that I can listen while I check my email, FB etc, and go in the bathroom to get ready. It's perfect! Thank you for making me want to listen to music honey!
PS: I found the I'm Still In Love a little flat and dull, but LOVED I Thank the Lord!!! Keep it up!
So now I kept on listening, and you read the wonderful comments from your friend who was at the Delhi restaurant. Poetic, and so cool! Stories are the very best and I felt like I was there!
ReplyDeleteThank you again!
