Premiere Episode: A Foreshadowing: Rain!

Rain is a ubiquitous theme in music, and has many applications. Most conveniently, rain camouflages our tears when we're heartbroken. It often symbolizes melancholy points in life, but, dynamically, also symbolizes redemption and fulfillment. Why else would we pray for rain? Rain makes us quiet, contemplative, or else resentful that we're indoors and contained, though it can work to our advantage if we're with a sweetie.  Sometimes, we aren't talking about rain at all. What we literally mean is conflict, pain, violence, passion. Whatever rain is intended to mean, we've surely all been there.
